Had a crazy week fixing a flood-damaged Leica M6 from a shop in New Orleans
The owner shipped it up here after Hurricane Ida, and the viewfinder was completely fogged with internal mold. Spent two full days just cleaning the prism and rangefinder assembly with isopropyl and a ton of q-tips. Anyone else dealt with major water damage on a classic body and have tips for the shutter curtain?

Yeah, a slightly damp q-tip on the curtain rails works wonders.

Wait, you use a damp q-tip? I always thought that would just push the dust around. Gonna try that next time, my rails are looking rough.
