Leaking bellows on a 1960s folder, fixed with a $4 bike tube patch kit

Was in my shop last Tuesday, testing a Voigtlander I got off eBay. Bellows had pinholes, light leaks everywhere. Couldn't find the right size replacement. Tried liquid rubber, peeled right off. Got frustrated, walked to the hardware store. Saw a patch kit for bicycle tubes. Cut a piece, sanded the bellows, glued it down. Worked perfect, no leaks in my test roll. Anyone ever used inner tube rubber for bellows repairs?

That patch kit trick is genius, honestly. Did the same on an old Agfa last year, two years of shooting since and it's been rock solid.
