Figured out my "waterproof" boots were never waterproof because of one dumb habit
Was complaining to a guy at the trailhead near Leadville about wet socks on every trip, and he asked if I ever treated the leather after buying them. Never once did it in three years, just assumed the label meant forever. Anyone got a wax or spray they actually trust on full grain leather?
