My insulated mug came back from a canoe trip actually COLD inside
Last weekend I took my usual Yeti mug on a 6 mile paddle down the Rogue River and left it sitting in direct sun for like 4 hours while I fished. When I opened it, the ice cubes were STILL there and the water was frigid. I honestly thought insulated mugs were marketing hype until I saw that. Has anyone else tested their gear in real conditions like that, or do you just trust the lab numbers? I'm curious if cheaper brands hold up as well.
