My cat's cardboard fort collapsed after I tried a new tape in Denver

Tbh I was super excited to build a two-story castle for Mittens using boxes from our move. I used that blue painter's tape I found at a Walmart in Denver and it failed completely within 3 hours. The whole thing sagged and fell on her while she was napping. Has anyone else had a specific tape brand just not hold up for box structures?

and thats the thing with blue painters tape man, it straight up lies to you. it looks like it should work because it sticks pretty good at first but then it just gives up like an hour later. i swear theres a pattern with this stuff where it works just long enough to fool you into trusting it then bam, your cats castle is a pancake. same thing happens with those cheap storage bins that crack when you look at them wrong. everything is made to look tough but falls apart the second you actually use it for what you bought it for. dont take it personal, mittens probably just thinks you were trying to build her a new hideout that doubles as a surprise blanket.

Blue painter's tape? Oh man. I used that same stuff on my cat's spaceship build. It peeled off the cardboard in an hour. Mittens probably thinks you tried to dump a building on her head. I felt like a real architect watching my work collapse. Dreams of cardboard glory crushed by cheap tape.
