The 2005 box robot that started it all

My sister sent me a photo of the cardboard robot we built in my parents' garage back in 2005. Taped together with duct tape and a cereal box for the head, it fell apart in two days but we didn't care. Seeing that picture made me realize how much easier things are now with hot glue and packing tape, but that old robot had more soul than anything I've made since. Anybody else got a first build they still think about whenever they start a new project?
