$500 is steep (well, depends on the person I guess) but I'm glad it worked out for you. I've seen too many friends drop cash on these coaches and end up with the same basic advice you could get from a library book or a free YouTube video. Like, one buddy paid a coach to "help him find his passion" and all the guy did was tell him to network more and update his LinkedIn. That's not worth $500, you know? Maybe you found a good one, but I'd say most people are better off spending that money on a certification or something concrete instead of vague pep talks.
