Found a cheap trick for getting perfect scribe cuts on uneven walls
I kept fighting baseboard gaps on an old house in Portland where nothing is square. After 3 jobs of caulking my mistakes, I saw a guy at a job fair use a flat compass to trace the wall contour right onto the board. It takes maybe 4 extra minutes per cut but the fit is so tight I barely need any filler. I tried it on my last bathroom remodel with a 6 foot run and zero visible gaps afterward. Anyone else got a go to method for scribing tricky corners, or do you just cope with shims?
