PSA: my circ saw kicked back on a $40 sheet of birch ply and I ate the rail
Was ripping a 3/4 sheet of birch ply on my bench in the garage when the blade pinched and the saw jumped back and chewed into my sawhorse before I let go. I shut it down, checked the blade for bent teeth, and started using a thin rip guide and a fresh outfeed support instead of horsing it through freehand. What's your go-to setup for keeping long rips from binding on the back half of the cut?
