inHit 500 groaners posted and I'm honestly shocked
Man, yes, something clicks right around there. For me it was somewhere in the 300s when I stopped writing jokes the night before and started just keeping a running list in my phone notes. Little stuff like swapping "what do you call a..." for a setup that sounds like a real question made a way bigger difference than any single punchline. I also started saying them out loud while walking my dog, which sounds dumb but you hear where the pause should go. Around 500 I noticed I could feel the groan coming before I even finished the line, which is a weird superpower. Congrats on the milestone, the taco pun era was clearly just training.

inStove wind guard trick finally made my coffee quick
Wait, is that really saving you time or just making the pot hotter on one side? If the guard is angled toward the pot, you're funneling the heat into one spot, which can scorch your coffee grounds or make the boil uneven. I tried tilting mine once and the wind just curled around the edge and blew the flame sideways, took even longer than no guard at all. Plus, depending on the stove design and pot size, a straight guard might actually be trapping more heat. You sure it wasn't just the rocks doing the real work?
