I kept cutting the ears off. Every single time. Thought my meme game was just weak, like I didn't have the eye for it. Then my buddy watched me do one on my phone at a cookout in Fresno and asked why I was zooming in on the face first. Turns out you frame the cat, not the caption. I'd been fighting the crop for weeks trying to squeeze text in. Whole thing took 10 seconds once he showed me. What's the dumb mistake you kept making that someone caught in like 5 seconds flat?
