Spent $15 on a phone tripod for cat pics and it fixed my blurry memes

My cat Gus never sits still for a second, so every meme I posted came out blurry and got like 4 upvotes. I grabbed a $15 tripod at the Walmart in Joliet last week and shot him on video instead, then pulled clean frames from it. Does anyone else shoot video first to grab that perfect face, or am I late to this?
