Got stuck paying $9 at a San Jose fast charger cause my card wouldn't tap
I pulled into the mall garage in San Jose with 14% left and the app kept erroring out, so I just tapped my debit card at the kiosk. Turned out that kiosk charges a flat session fee on top of the per kWh rate, so I paid about $9 for a 25 minute top up that should've been closer to $5. Does anyone keep a physical RFID card or backup app for spots like this, or am I just bad at this?
