Level 2 charging at home was a total waste of money for me at first

For 6 months I was using the 120v charger that came with my Bolt, thinking it was fine. Then I took a trip to my brother's place in Phoenix and used his 240v outlet. It charged in 4 hours what took me 16 hours at home. That made me realize I never checked if I had a dryer plug in my garage. Turns out I did, I was just being lazy. So for those of you who charge on 120v, do you think it's actually saving you money or are you just avoiding the setup cost like I was?

Oh man, that's exactly what happened to me! I was using 120v for almost a year with my Leaf thinking it was fine until a buddy pointed out my laundry room was right next to the garage. I bought a heavy duty extension cord and a splitter for like 60 bucks total and it's been a game changer. Your mileage may vary but honestly checking for an existing outlet is the first thing I'd tell anyone now before they drop money on a full install.

Wait, did I just admit to paying for a full install without checking my laundry room first?
