The free charger at the library in Ann Arbor taught me more about battery care than any forum post
I was killing time at the downtown library in Ann Arbor while my kid picked out books, and I noticed a row of free Level 2 chargers in the parking deck next door. A guy in a Leaf was plugged in and told me he only tops up to 80 percent there because the last bit is slow and he doesn't need the full range for city driving. That got me looking at my own charging habits, and I realized I've been plugging in to 100 percent overnight out of pure laziness, not need. Cut my home charging to every other day and my electric bill went down about $14 in the first month. Curious if anyone else has figured out a sweet spot for partial charges on a short commute.
