Hot take: I ate lunch for $4.50 five days straight in Fresno and it beat every $15 plate I've had this year
Last week I was broke until payday so I hit the same taco truck on Blackstone every day, and it honestly beat most of the sit-down spots I've tried. Al pastor tacos were $1.25 each, and three of them plus a bottle of water came to $4.50. By Friday the guy behind the counter started throwing in extra salsa and a free lime drink because he recognized me. It got me thinking the cheap spots I usually drive past are doing better food than places charging triple. What's the best under $5 meal you've found around your area?
