The diner near the bus depot packs lunch portions for half price
Found out yesterday that Rose's Diner off Route 9 sells their dinner sides in to-go containers for $2.50 after 2pm. I got a full plate of meatloaf and potatoes for $6, same as their lunch special but twice the amount. The waitress said they do this to clear the steam table before they close. Anyone else got a spot that does late afternoon discounts like this near a transit stop?

My buddy Marcus hit up that same kind of deal at the Greek place by the subway, got a whole tray of moussaka for like three bucks at 3pm. He said it was still warm and tasted better than the full price stuff he'd ordered the week before.
