Can we talk about the $65 I blew on that riverwalk architecture boat tour
Honestly I finally did the big architecture boat tour everyone in this city keeps pushing and it was $65 for 90 minutes on a crowded top deck. The guide was funny but half the buildings he pointed at were behind other boats so I mostly stared at a guy's bald spot in front of me. Ngl I learned more about our skyline from a free walking loop I did myself starting at the Riverwalk last summer. Everybody acts like you aren't a real Chicagoan till you do this cruise and I think that is just tourist board talk. Did anyone else feel ripped off or was my boat just extra packed that Saturday?

Wait, $65? For real? That is wild. My sister paid around $45 last fall and even that felt steep for what you get. Staring at a bald spot for 90 minutes is exactly the kind of thing that would happen to me, so your story checks out.
