Lost $200 on a fake parking pass near Wrigley last summer

I bought what I thought was a legit parking pass off Facebook Marketplace for a Cubs game in June. Got to the lot off Addison and the guy scanned my QR code and just laughed, said it was already used. I had to scramble and pay $60 for a random spot six blocks away. Anyone else get burned by those fake parking scams online?

Did you see that article about how those scammers just buy a real pass, sell it to like 20 people, then disappear? I read something about it last season and it's wild how often it happens.

The "sell it to 20 people" part gets me every time. That's just insane, how do they even sleep at night?
