My Loop commute was 20 minutes faster once I stopped using the Red Line at Rush
For two months I took the Red Line from Belmont to work at the Loop every morning, always around 8am. Last week I tried the Brown Line from Southport instead because the platform was packed. Total trip was 38 minutes versus 58, and the train was way less crowded. Any other north siders find that one extra transfer saves you more time than fighting the crowds?
