inVisited a pet shelter in Portland and saw their rope toy system
Huh, that's really interesting. Did they say anything about how they prepped the denim so it wouldn't fray into little threads the dogs could swallow? I've always been nervous about that with homemade fabric toys, but if they figured out a way to make it safe, that would be awesome. My dog loves to shred anything fabric, so I'm guessing those would be gone in about five minutes flat.

inSwitched from Kirby Morgan to Ocean Reef for my last gig in the Gulf
Tried the Neptune last year on a six week job in the same area. Liked the weight at first but ended up switching back after two weeks. The neck dam isn't the only issue. The Ocean Reef leaks way more around the oral nasal mask if you angle your head wrong. Had to clear it every thirty minutes on deeper bell runs. If you're mainly working shallow or doing short shifts it might be fine. But for four hour bottom times the Kirby Morgan is still the better call. Stick with what works and keep the Neptune as a backup.

inI finally figured out why my cardboard cat castle kept collapsing after I added a second floor last Tuesday
OMG yes, the whole "cutting the corrugation the wrong way" thing is SO real. I built my cat a little two-story condo a few months ago with some old Amazon boxes and it kept bowing in the middle, I was so confused. I was literally sitting there with a box cutter staring at the cardboard like it was a geometry problem. Flipping the pieces 90 degrees is a game changer, I did the same thing and now that thing is sturdy as heck. My cat just launched himself onto the top level and it didn't even creak, it was the best feeling ever.

inSaw a guy using a circular saw backwards on a job site in Nashville last week
Gotta love people who think safety rules are just suggestions.
