Bristle brush vs. poly whip, finally picked the poly after 11 years
I used a bristle brush on a 20 year old clay flue last Tuesday and it shed 3 bristles into the smoke chamber, so I tried the poly whip on a newer liner and it cleaned faster with zero mess, has anyone else swapped back and forth based on the flue age?
Wait, are you sure those bristles came loose from the brush and not from an old liner that was already shedding? I've seen that happen a bunch where the flue itself is the culprit, not the tool.
