Client in Cheyenne asked me to sweep her flue on the 2 year anniversary of her husband passing, because he always did it
She stood in the doorway holding his old wire brush and said "he'd want you to use this one," and I did, and that brush worked better than the one on my truck.

That brush working better than yours doesn't mean anything about the guy or the moment, it just means his brush was older and worn in, which honestly tends to happen with wire brushes over time. Sentimental value makes people see things that aren't there, a brush is a brush. You did a nice thing for her, but let's not turn a chimney sweep into some kind of sign from beyond.
