Hit 2,000 sweeps and I'm split on whether volume or variety matters more
Last Tuesday I finished my 2,000th chimney sweep since I started my own route in 2018. That number surprised me because I never tracked totals, just the daily grind. What I'm torn on is whether hitting that mark means I should keep taking every job that comes in, or start turning down the simple ones to focus on the tricky masonry work. The easy sweeps pay the bills steady, but the hard jobs are where I actually learn something new. Has anyone else passed a milestone like this and changed how they pick jobs, or do you just keep the same mix going?
