Pro tip: I stopped double bagging my soups after a 2 block walk in the rain ruined 4 orders
Last Thursday I sent out 4 containers of pho in double paper bags, thinking I was being smart. Customer sends a photo 10 minutes later, both bags soaked through and the broth dripping down her porch steps in Belltown. I grabbed one of those cheap 3 mil plastic liners I had sitting in a drawer and ran the same test with hot soup, zero leaks, 2 blocks in the rain. Turns out paper absorbs steam, plastic just shrugs it off, and I had it backwards for 8 months of deliveries. Anyone else find a bag combo that survives a wet ride without the food showing up cold?
