That time a delivery driver rated MY food before eating it
I run a cloud kitchen out of my apartment in Austin, mostly comfort food bowls. Last month I got an order for mac and cheese with brisket from a guy named Dave. I packed it up real nice, tossed in a handwritten thank you card, and sent it out. Twenty minutes later I saw the order was marked as "not good" on the app with a 2 star review. No message, no photo, just a bad rating. I was confused because I had just eaten that same batch myself. Turns out Dave left the food on his porch for an hour while he took a phone call, then blamed me when it was cold. He actually admitted this in a follow up message. Now I put a big sticker on the box that says "please eat within 15 minutes." Has anyone else had a driver or customer tank your rating for something you couldn't control?
