Hot take: staring at chips on the tool eye for 3 seconds before a tool change saved my finish
Ran a 12 hour batch of 6061 parts last Tuesday and the finish went to crap on the last 8 pieces because I finally noticed I was pulling the tool out mid-spindle-down, so I started hitting feed hold and letting the spindle stop all the way before the change, and I want to know if anyone else caught this the hard way or if I'm just the last guy on the floor to figure it out.
