Hit 30 tabs open in VS Code and my laptop froze for 20 minutes straight
I thought I could leave all my tutorial pages open while learning JavaScript, but my old ThinkPad at the library in Denver just gave up and I lost 2 hours of notes, so now I close everything after each lesson, has anyone else wrecked their machine trying to learn too much at once?

Wait, are you sure it was the tabs that froze it? 30 tabs in VS Code shouldn't lock up a whole machine for 20 minutes unless something else was going on. VS Code is pretty heavy on memory though, so if your ThinkPad is older with low RAM, Chrome and VS Code both eating it at once could definitely do it. The lost notes part sucks but that's more a save-your-work thing than a tab thing... ctrl+s after every lesson would've saved you there. Sounds like the freeze was real but blaming the tab count alone might be off.
