My French press exploded all over my kitchen ceiling
I was plunging too fast on a Tuesday morning and the whole glass burst, coffee went everywhere, even painted my white ceiling brown. Took me an hour to scrub it down with vinegar and a sponge on a broom handle. Anyone else have a sudden equipment failure that turned into a whole cleanup project?
My mom got me one of those glass electric kettles for Christmas two years ago and I knocked it off the counter reaching for a mug. Shattered on the tile, water and glass shards all over the floor plus the stove and the fridge. Spent 40 minutes on my hands and knees with a flashlight because the tiny pieces kept hiding in the grout lines. My dog was going nuts wanting to walk through it too. Coffee on a white ceiling sounds way worse though, at least mine was just clear water.
