Seeing someone frown at my flavored creamer choice made me mad

I was at a friend's house and grabbed my usual hazelnut creamer for my coffee. The host, who roasts his own beans, gave me this disappointed shake of his head. It made the whole moment awkward for no good reason. Can we not make coffee into some kind of purity contest where add ins are bad?

Oh man, this reminds me of my uncle who puts ketchup on literally everything, even eggs. People give him so much grief but he just does not care. Honestly @the_keith, your three sugar habit is pretty mild compared to that. Life is too short to worry about what other people think about your coffee.
