Showerthought: How ditching the outlet hunt transformed my cafe sessions
I stopped scrambling for a table near a plug and started trusting my laptop battery. Now I pick spots for vibe over convenience, and I'm actually more present with my work.

Stopped chasing outlets myself a few months ago. Picking spots for atmosphere over plugs made sessions more intentional. My battery lasts longer than my focus used to anyway.

Totally get where @lane.michael is coming from with the outlet struggle. Switching to coffee shops with vibe over plugs forced me to plan my work in bursts, which actually boosted my productivity. Now my brain and my battery both last longer without constant charging.

Wasn't there a piece in The Atlantic about the myth of multitasking in wired spaces? It argued that dependency on outlets often fragments attention, which aligns with what @lane.michael is describing. Turns out my laptop and I both operate better on a full charge and a single task.
