My comic shop guy said variant covers are for suckers, and I almost believed him
I was at Galactic Comics in Austin last Saturday when he told me that, and I ended up buying the standard cover for $4 instead of the $25 foil one, then felt like a chump when I saw it framed on a wall two weeks later. Anyone else think the "variants are a scam" take is just cover for not wanting to stock them?
