Storing comics in page protectors made my collection way easier to use

I kept digging through 14 long boxes looking for one issue and giving up around midnight. Tried those poly bags and backing boards but still had to pull everything out to check the number. Switched to clear page protectors with the book facing out, like a binder, and now I can spot Amazing Spider-Man #25 from across the room. Anyone else organize by series instead of number just to cut down on the hunting?
