That guy at the shop who called my pull list 'aggressive'

I was at my local comic shop last Saturday picking up my stack. The guy behind the counter looked at my pull list, let out a little laugh, and said 'you know they make trades for this stuff right?' It was just a casual jab but it got me thinking. I had 14 single issues this month across 5 different series. Some of these stories I'm reading month to month don't even have a trade yet. But part of me wondered if I'm just buying out of habit now instead of actually caring about the floppies. Has anyone else had a shop employee or friend call them out on their buying habits and it made you stop and look at your own collection differently?

Just ignore him and enjoy collecting how you want.

Wait, was this at Capital City Comics? A buddy of mine heard a guy say something similar to a customer there and he said the employee was a total tool about it. My friend just laughed it off but told me later it bugged him for days.
