Tried a full face mask on a 40 ft dock job and hated it

Borrowed a friend's full face mask for a dock inspection in Galveston two weeks ago thinking it would free up my hands for the camera, but the fogging and the extra drag in the current made a 2 hour job stretch to almost 4. I also couldn't get the comms sealed right and kept hearing my own breathing over the radio, which nobody warned me about. Has anyone stuck with a full face long enough to make it worth it, or am I better off staying with my regular mask and a backup light?
