Appreciation post: That moment a 4-inch drain line finally made sense
I was on a job at a middle school in Amarillo back in March, staring at a mess of mains that never seemed to flow right. Watched a senior guy reroute one branch with a 45-degree offset and suddenly all the noise and backup issues just disappeared. Anyone else had a single fitting change save your whole layout?

The ol' "just rotate it 45 degrees and walk away" fix. Works every time until you realize you can't reach the valve anymore without a contortionist's help. Had a buddy do that on a gas line once and ended up having to redo the whole thing because the fitting was now pointing at a stud.
