Grease trap backup took 6 hours in downtown Austin, what a mess
We had a 40 unit apartment complex on 6th Street and the grease trap completely clogged on a Friday afternoon. The line was blocked so bad that sewage started backing up into the lowest unit closet drains. It took my crew 6 hours because the previous installer used schedule 20 pipe instead of 40, so we had to dig up 12 feet of line. Has anyone else run into cheap pipe in newer builds causing these kind of delays?
