A customer at my shop in Fresno told me my bench looked like a crime scene, and he was not wrong

Last month a guy picked up his laptop and pointed at the 14 screwdrivers, 3 spudgers, and a pile of thermal paste tubes scattered across my bench, then asked if I worked out of a dumpster. It stung a little but he was right, so now every tool goes back on the pegboard the second I am done with it and my bench gets wiped down between jobs. Do you all clean up as you go or just let the mess pile up until Friday?
