Just realized the old tech at the Fort Worth shop was right about canned air
He kept telling me to use a vacuum first because canned air just pushes dust deeper into the heatsink, and after replacing 3 fans on the same laptop I finally got it. Now I do it his way every time. Anyone else got a senior tech tip that sounded dumb until it wasn't?
