Cut back on the vibration time when placing slab on grade. Much less aggregate settlement at the bottom.

Wow, read that over-vibration can totally separate the mix.

Over-vibration causes segregation, pushing all the good rock to the bottom. You know you're done when the surface gets a nice, wet sheen and the big bubbles stop coming up.

Watched a crew over-vibrate a wall form once, concrete looked like soup.
