Figured out my bull float angle from a parking lot in Phoenix
I was doing a 12,000 sq ft slab near Phoenix and kept getting a wavy surface, then an old foreman pointed out I was tilting the float way too flat, and once I dropped the handle about 15 degrees the whole finish came out level, has anyone else had that lightbulb moment mid-pour?
Funny, I had the opposite issue, tilted mine too much and dragged a gouge through half a slab before someone yelled at me. Sounds like you just traded one bad habit for another, not some magic fix.
