Hit 500 driveway pours this month, never expected that number
I kept a tally on my phone since January and this month marked the 500th residential driveway I've done in my 22 years around Tulsa. That total surprised me because I never tracked anything back in my early days, just showed up and poured. Has anyone else ever run a long term count on a specific job type, and did it change how you bid that work?
You ever notice how keeping track of something makes you second guess it? I did that with roof repairs once, hit 200 in a year, and it messed with my head so bad I started bidding higher on everything just to slow down. Turns out my numbers were off by like 40 because I counted a few twice and missed a whole neighborhood on the other side of town. Now I just write it on the calendar with a sharpie and forget about it, way easier on the brain than trying to do math after a long day of hauling ladders.
