My slab edges went from raggedy to clean in 2 weeks and it was one dumb thing
I keep looking at photos from the Riverside job on May 3rd versus the one I finished last Friday, and the difference in the edges is night and day. On that first one I was pulling the forms when the concrete was still too green, so the corners crumbled and I spent an hour patching with a trowel. Then a guy named Sal on the next crew said to give it at least 24 hours and hit the form pins with a dead blow instead of prying. Two weeks later my edges came out sharp with almost no touch up work. Has anyone else had a margin time that small make that big a change, or am I just late to this?
