Two-man float crew talked me into magnesium floats, halfway converted
Been using steel floats for 12 years on big warehouse pours around Columbus, always figured magnesium was just lighter and softer. Last month a crew I subbed for handed me one on a 14,000 square foot slab and I swear the finish came up creamier with way less effort on the second pass. Did the magnesium actually change your workflow that much or is it all in the wrist?
