Comparing Elden Ring on PS5 vs Switch via remote play was night and day
Tried running Elden Ring through remote play on my Switch Lite last night and the input lag was brutal compared to just playing it natively on my PS5, has anyone else had better luck with a different streaming setup?

Wait, the OLED model actually handles remote play better? That just sounds crazy to me.

The thing nobody's really talking about is how different Switch models handle remote play. I tried it on my v1 Switch and it was a lag fest, but my buddy has the OLED model and he swears it's way smoother. Something about the wireless chip being better in the newer one. Plus, your home router matters way more than people admit - if you're not on WiFi 6 or at least hardwired into the PS5, you're basically asking for trouble. I'd be curious what your internet upload speed is on the PS5 side, because that was the real bottleneck for me when I messed with it. Did you try dropping the remote play resolution down to 720p before giving up?
