My brother swore by the 0.2 K/D trick for Overwatch, actually worked
Last year my brother told me to pick one hero per map and never switch, even if it feels bad. I thought he was nuts because I always flexed between roles. But after two weeks of locking Soldier on King's Row every time, my win rate jumped from 48% to 61%. Funny how sticking to one thing beats trying to do everything. Anyone else get advice that sounded dumb but secretly fixed their ranked grind?

Oh man, careful with that math. 48% to 61% is a 13 point jump, not a 13% increase in wins. That's still a HUGE jump though, so I get what you're saying. But yeah, the one trick thing is real. I did the same with Junkrat on Anubis back in the day and went from hard stuck gold to plat in like a week. The trick is you gotta learn the little spots and timings that only work for that one character on that one map. Switching every death just resets your brain every fight. The only catch is if the enemy team hard counters you, you still gotta switch, but that's like every 1 in 10 games.
