Rant: That one kid in my class who said Xbox is for babies
Last week during lunch duty, a 6th grader told me straight faced that anyone who plays Xbox is a baby and only PlayStation is real gaming. I asked him if he had actually played anything on an Xbox and he just shrugged. So I pulled up my phone and showed him the Ori games and Sea of Thieves clips and he got quiet. Has anyone else run into kids parroting console brand loyalty without any real experience?

Yeah totally agree with @paul_morgan on that. I had the same thing with my nephew, just showed him Halo and Gears of War clips on my phone and he actually wanted to try it out. Once they see real gameplay instead of just repeating what they heard, it usually shuts them up quick.

Honestly, this is just how kids pick up on grown up stuff without actually knowing why. It's like the whole "iPhone vs Android" thing, they just repeat what they hear their older siblings or YouTubers say. Ngl, showing them actual good games is the only way to shut it down.
