Shoutout to the PS5 fan that started making noise after 14 months

My launch PS5's fan started rattling like a dying blender last Tuesday night. Right in the middle of a boss fight in Elden Ring, too. I took the side panels off and found a stray piece of plastic wedged against the blade. It was a tiny clip from the disc drive that must have broken off during a move last summer. No more noise after I fished it out with tweezers. Anyone else find random junk inside their console after it sat for a while?

Gotta say I don't think that was really random junk just sitting in there though lol. More like something broke off and got sucked in when the fan spun up. Probably happened during the move when you jostled it around and that little clip got dislodged. Consoles don't just grow random trash inside them like a dust bunny collection or something. Glad you got it fixed without having to crack open the whole thing though, that could've been a real headache.
