That ladder incident made me dump my old extension setup
Last Tuesday I was swapping gutters on a two-story in Dayton and the 28-foot aluminum ladder slipped on some wet moss. I used to swear by the old-school setup, but after that close call I grabbed a fiberglass one with the stabilizer bar and it felt way more solid. Took me two days to get over the shaky legs, but now I don't even think about heights when I'm up there. Anyone else switch after a scary moment like that?
Wet moss is no joke, glad you made the switch. Fiberglass with a stabilizer is a total game changer for peace of mind. My legs still hate me days after, but I'll take that over the ladder kicking out any time.
