I used to only do foils for highlights, now I'm all about balayage
For years I was strictly foils because I thought balayage was too messy and unpredictable. But after a client asked for a lived-in look last spring and I tried it with a lightener brush, I got way softer growth lines and less banding. Which technique do you find gives better root blending in a single session?
